Building the Foundation

The Second Half Trust is currently establishing its roots. Right now, our focus is on building a strong community network, raising awareness around men's mental health in sport, and laying the groundwork for future player support programs.

While we are not yet set up to deliver formal 1-on-1 support services or clinical guidance, we are actively growing our peer network and building momentum so that no athlete has to face retirement alone..

1. Join Our Network

Whether you are a recently retired athlete, someone who hung up your boots years ago, or a friend who understands the journey, we want to hear from you. Getting in touch helps us shape our future peer groups and ensures you are the first to know as new initiatives launch.

2. Fundraise & Walk With Us

Support our upcoming awareness events and charity walks. Every pound raised and every mile walked helps secure the resources we need to launch our dedicated support hubs and programs.

3. Sports Club Partnerships

We are actively looking to partner with sports clubs at all levels. Help us start the conversation early by introducing the trust to your local club, coaching staff, or committee.

4. Become a Trustee/Volunteer

Building a lasting trust requires dedicated people behind the scenes. If you have expertise in charity governance, mental health advocacy, event organisation, or sports administration, consider joining our team.
